About Us

The concept of Holy Trinity Teachers’ College developed in the mind of Bishop George Bernarding SVD in late 1961. Fatima Teachers’ College was the forebearer of Holy Trinity Teachers’ College. In 1963, HTTC came to be what we see now as a Teachers’ College. The ownership of the college goes to Joint Venture Agency (Archdioceses of Mount Hagen & Madang, Dioceses of Goroka, Kundiawa, Wabag & Mendi).

Situated on the peripheries of the Mt Hagen City and sandwiched against the backroad of the Rondon Ridge Range, the Holy Trinity Teacher’s College is situated. The campus is covered by beautiful lawns, classroom which has with stood through time, new additional building, and beautiful iconic chapel which captures the eye, the campus of the Holy Trinity is a spacious sight for the first timer.

Behind the college runs the Aunta River separating the villagers from the college grounds. Students access the beautiful, fresh and clear Aunta whenever they want to go swimming for an early cold wash.

Buses run 10 minutes from college into the Mt Hagen City. Locals and students together commute on these buses.
