Academic program

The Academic Program is guided by 2020 National Program Specification Document (PSD). The National PSD also guides the distribution of units in each strand, credit points and volume of learning time.
Every 5 year there is a review of the Academic Program Specific Document.

Holy Trinity Teacher’s College (HTTC) is a national college. It offers two major courses;  Diploma in Primary Teaching and Bachelor in Primary Teaching.

To enroll into HTTC, there are two (2) categories. These includes School Leavers and Non-School Leavers. The School Leaver category of applicants are current Grade 12 students enrolled in Secondary and National High Schools, Private and International schools and will sit the Grade 12 National Examination. The second category of applicants are Non School Leavers (NSL) who have completed Grade 12 in the past and were not selected or Grade 12 upgrading their grades, or those who have completed Grade 10 and are now enrolled at a University Centre or employed.

The college educates students in the responsibilities and ethic of this profession, and encourages students to display “Vision, Dedication, Service in carrying out their duties. Teaching is also a ministry in Jesus’ name. The College encourages students to view their profession as a “calling “to express the faith they received at Baptism by sharing that faith.
